How do I:- Look up references?   1. Go back to the HOME PAGE   2. Click on “Search ERIC” or “A Database”   3. You then have three choices:-     a. Search for an author or institution         i. Select the author or institution from the drop down “List of Authors” by scrolling up and down and clicking on the name you want         ii. You can refine this by also choosing one or more keywords from the drop down “Index” by scrolling up and down and clicking on the word(s) you want         iii. Click on “Get Selected Values”     b. Search for a keyword in the index         i. Scroll up and down the drop down “Index” and click on the word(s) you want.         ii Click on “Get Selected Values”     c. Search using your own words         i. Type in the word/text/string you want         ii. Select “and” or “or”         iii. Define if you are looking for this text in the title or index         iv. Click on “Get Selected Values”               Review queries submitted to COREC   1. Go back to the HOME PAGE: you have two choices     a. Click on either of the “Reports on Queries”         i. Then click on the “Word Icon” to the left of the report you wish to read.     b. Click on the “Word Icon” to the left of the report you wish to read at the bottom of the home page. Please note that this is a list of ONLY the FOUR most recent reports.               Review recent appeals   1 Go back to the HOME PAGE: you have two choices     a a. Click on either of the “Reports on Appeals”         i. Then click on the “Word Icon” to the left of the appeal report you wish to read.     b Click on the “Word Icon” to the left of the appeal report you wish to read at the bottom of the home page. Please note that this is a list of ONLY the FOUR most recent appeals   Read an Issue and Arguments Paper   1 Go back to the HOME PAGE: you have two choices     a           i. Then click on the “Word Icon” to the left of the “Issues and Arguments” you wish to read.     b Click on the “Word Icon” to the left of the “Issues and Arguments” you wish to read at the bottom of the home page. Then click on the “Word Icon” to the left of the “RECs in the News” you wish to read.     b Click on the “Word Icon” to the left of the “RECs in the News” you wish to read at the bottom of the home page.
